About Us and Our Community Work
Welcome to Bee Enchanted CIC, a creative and community-focused organization based at The Old Rectory, Houghton. We’re passionate about bringing people together through movement, arts, and storytelling. With a strong presence in North Tyneside and Sunderland, our work is all about connection—whether that’s boosting confidence, supporting mental health, or simply having fun in a safe and welcoming space.
From Fire and Flow sessions (, to Circus & Swing classes (learn more here), to beach-based activities like Flowing Through Anxiety (find out more here), our activities are designed to uplift, inspire, and empower. Beyond regular sessions, we’re proud to organize community events and performances, including vibrant showcases like the Houghton Feast Parade and stunning light-based displays at Light Up Barnard Castle and Seaton Carew Fireworks.
Our flagship project, Connecting the Dots, is just one of the ways we’re creating meaningful change in our communities.
Connecting the Dots
Connecting the Dots is more than a community project—it’s a movement to bring people together through creativity, connection, and well-being. Launched in October 2023, this initiative by Bee Enchanted CIC, proudly supported by The National Lottery’s Connecting Communities fund, offers a unique platform for people of all ages and abilities to explore creative expression while building meaningful connections.
