Penella Bee presents Glow northern lights with support from Arts Council England.

Glow Northern Lights is based upon the story of a young girl Leena who sees the aurora borealis on the beach with her father . The transformational moment in her childhood allowed her to believe in all that is magic and the escapism looking into the night sky can bring. . Audiences will be fully immersed with characters from different dimensions, constellations and imagery of local beauty. The message of the show is when you look up to the wonder and vastness of the night sky you remember anything is possible. The show is available for bookings in 2023/2024 and we can offer bespoke animations for your event and city. The show can come with interactive light up workshops too. The family friendly show combines dance and circus manipulation with cutting edge LED spinning toys, animation 3D projection mapping on a background screen and spray painted caravan. There are exciting interactive parts of the show were the dancer is live tracked so the animation interacts directly with the dancers movements.

It will tell an inspiring tale of the northern lights from the North of the uk. The show will have an inclusive version design with SEND audiences in mind

We had a a wonderful opportunity to explore the writtings of Risara Langley Azra series this is her first book and Penella Bee teamed up with the fantastical Tamara Kazzhia and her breath taking vocals and vilion playing. making original music for this production.

We are currently awaiting an arts council application decison to research into blending the technolgy of Glow Northernlights with the puppetry live music from Azra and Dragon. Watch this space!

There a multiple versions of the show available ranging from 20 minutes to 45 minutes .

We have beautiful bespoke animations that can be projected onto our own screens or a building of your choice at your event. These animations help tell the story of Leena and magically interact with the dancer/s.
